GROOMING STANDARDS
All staff are expected to arrive at check in wearing the uniform that has been specified for that booking. If a shirt is being provided by the venue, you are expected to arrive wearing black pants, black shoes, black socks and a black t-shirt. Males must be clean shaven, ladies must only wear black hair ties or elastics. One pair of sleepers or stud earrings for ladies and no facial piercings are acceptable for any staff. If you arrive out of uniform, or are late for a check in, you will be sent home!
CONFIRMATION OF SHIFTS
If Pinnacle have left a message for you asking you to confirm a shift, you must call and speak with a consultant in order to confirm this shift. If you do not return the call, your shift will be replaced. When you book into your shifts, you are confirming that you are working, however if we have asked to confirm, it usually means that there has been a change to the shift. This is why it is so important for you to call back. If you do not call back, you will be replaced in the shift and we will assume that you no longer want any shifts with Pinnacle.
COMMUNICATION WITH THE PINNACLE OFFICE
It is imperative that you keep in touch with the Pinnacle office when any of your personal details or availability changes. If you have a missed call, txt message or voicemail on your phone from Pinnacle, please ensure that you call us back as soon as possible. If we have left a message with you for whatever reason, you must call us back. We will no longer be chasing staff who do not call us back. If you do not respond after a second message has been left, your file will be de-activated, and you will no longer receive shifts from Pinnacle.
AFTER HOURS MOBILE SERIVCE
The Pinnacle After Hours Mobile Phone number is 0438 002 505. Please ensure you have this number entered into your mobile phone. This mobile service is for emergencies only and staff are NOT to send text messages to this service. If you are calling in sick for a shift, you MUST speak with a consultant. THE MOBILE SERVICE IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY – PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE MOBILE DURING OFFICE HOURS OR CALL ASKING FOR SHIFTS!
STAND-BY SHIFTS
If you accept a stand-by shift, you are saying to us that you will be contactable by phone at any time of that morning/day/evening. We don’t like early morning phone calls as much as you, however it is part of the business that we are in. They don’t happen very often but if you are not willing to answer your phone early in the morning then do not put yourself on stand-by. Staff who go on stand-by & do not answer their phone will given a low priority for future shifts. Remember you might be missing out on a great shift by not answering your mobile when we call!
TIMESHEETS
Employees will only be paid for actual hours worked when we have a signed timesheet. It is your responsibility to fill in a timesheet and find a supervisor to sign your timesheet at the completion of your shift. Do not leave your shift unless you have signed a timesheet. It is your responsibility to return your individual timesheets to the Pinnacle office by 1100hrs every Monday. If we do not receive your individual timesheet by this time your pay will be delayed until the next fortnight. In future we will not be chasing staff for timesheet as this is your responsibility.
CAR POOLING ETIQUETTE
The rules of car pooling etiquette are as follows:
• Pinnacle will advise you the cost of the trip and you are expected to give the money to the driver as soon as you get into the car.
• It is your responsibility as a passenger to swap mobile phone details and confirm the meeting point at the end of the shift with the driver and the other passengers in the car.
• The car you travelling in is the car you return in unless there are extenuating circumstances.
• Passengers and drivers are equally responsible for working out how to get to the shift and where to park etc – Pinnacle is not a directory service and we are not responsible for planning the trip
• It can and has happened other members in the car pool have been kept later at a shift unfortunately this is out of our control and one of the risks associated with car pooling.
